Position Vacant – Fire Protection Technician

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Fire Technician Electrician for our growing Fire Protection Company.

Remuneration negotiable and competitive

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, servicing and installation and repair of Electrical Fire systems for commercial premises

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Carrying out inspection, testing, service, installation and repair of Electrical Fire systems for commercial premises.

Identify non-compliant items with the client assets.

Record and report the non-compliant items.

High level of customer service, including communication on entering and leaving facilities

Positive attitude and interaction with customers and their requests.

Strict adherence to work health and safely policy and procedures.

Perform all assigned work within required timeframes, tolerance and budget.

Prepare estimates for quotable works if required

Pick-up and delivery of parts as required

Be on call roster to provide 24/7 emergency service

Training of apprentices/trainees or new starters as required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

Complete Understanding of Relevant Australian Standards

Required industry/fair trading licenses

Current driver’s license

Customer service driven

Initiative and motivation

Must be able to demonstrate ability to use mobile computers or tablets

Excellent communication skills

Well-groomed and presentable

Honest, reliable & willing to work independently
